Operation Success, Pedrosa 'Pursuit' Assen

Madrid - Dani Pedrosa just got off the operating table with a positive atmosphere enveloped, because there is a possibility he could return to race at Assen next weekend.

Pedrosa crashed last month in Le Mans, which makes it suffered a collarbone injury. For that he was already undergoing the first operation in which a titanium plate inserted into the collarbone.

However, after the second operation is required then there are the bones to shift. As of Friday (17/06/2011) pm dawn, continued operation has been completed successfully.

Another good news, with surgery a success then it was likely that the Honda rider was able to return to the racetrack during the Dutch MotoGP held on 25 June.

"We believe the operation a success because it managed to fix the bones of the collarbone with a very stable and therefore we believe the recovery process can begin his left shoulder the next 24 hours," explained Doctor Xavier Mir in charge of the operation, as reported by Reuters.

Described Repsol Honda, Dani Pedrosa will now discuss with her medical team if he was able to perform at Assen, after missing the previous race in Catalunya and Silverstone.
